            Although it is still early spring, the tennis season at YCC is not that far away.  For your planning, this is the schedule for the summer lessons programs.  Please read carefully and call me (Steve, at 259-4709) if you have any questions or concerns.  Once again this year, we will provide group youth lessons on a week-by-week basis, starting on Monday, June 14, and finishing on Friday, August 6 (a total of eight weeks).

All youth group lessons will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  If necessary due to weather, make-up lessons will be offered on Tuesdays or adjustments will be made for lessons missed.  The cost for each week will be $15.00, with each week covering all of the strokes in a gently progressive manner.  You may join in or finish up whenever you feel it best fits your summer schedule.  We want to be flexible to meet your needs.  We will work with groups according to the schedule below:

            In addition to the youth group lessons above, private and small group lessons are available by request.  Also, competitions for area tournaments and the annual Firecracker Special for our young players will be posted and scheduled as appropriate.

            Several other tennis activities are also planned this year.  We will be working with the Billings City Parks and Recreation to encourage tennis for all players at all levels.  There will be rallies, carnivals, clinics, tournaments, and more!  Please check with our pro shop to find out what’s being offered in Billings and in our area.  It is our desire that everyone get out and “get into the game!”

            For your information, there was one important change for guests using the YCC tennis courts.  The Board of Directors raised the Guest Fee to $5.00 per guest for each hour-and-a-half of play.  That Guest Fee should be paid at the Tennis Pro Shop or to the YCC Main Office.  It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the Fee is paid for each time of play and that members are present on court.
